Why I Started This Blog....
When i first thought about writing a blog it was a long time ago. I was very young but wanted to share my opinions and advice with the world- i still do and that's why i'm here now.
But what took so long for me to finally start a blog?
If you asked me straight up i would have answered like this "Oh, school stuff" "personal stuff, ya know?" "I just have no time!"
In a world where everything is becoming automated and instant we seem to be losing a lot more time. I have many friends who commit to something but a week later they can't even remember what it was. It makes me wonder what our lives have come to.
The days used to be 12 hours long but can you honestly say they still feel that way? With all the stuff we fill our time with it's no wonder we are stuck at 10.30pm still saying we will do the laundry in a minute....
Humans have lost the ability to slow down and truly BE in the moment, we are losing time to work, chores, extra-curricular activities and although they may be productive it doesn't change the fact that one day you are going to wake up 20 years older with memories based off an office cubicle, and a silver screen. What we need is time, time for our hobbies, our dreams, our families. Time.
Along with a vow to carve more time for myself, my interests and just for me, i thought about how this realization could benefit others and when that fit with my desire to start a blog,i was sold. Now, here i am, providing a blog on healthy living, mentality, physical care and nutrition that will (hopefully) give people a reason to slow down.
